Do you require contracts?

Never.  We are happy to earn your business each time we clean, and we have built this company doing just that.

Do you provide the cleaning supplies and equipment?

Yes we do.  We arrive with all cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to make your home or office sparkle.  If you have a specific product you want used, please call our office so your job information sheet can be updated.  Our products are environmentally safe and non toxic.  We maintain compliance with the State of Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements by keeping Material Safety Data Sheets on all products being used by our company. Our vacuums are equipped with HEPA filters as part of their filtration systems.  This is especially beneficial for asthma and allergy sufferers, because the HEPA filter traps the fine particles (such as pollen and dust mites) which can trigger allergy and asthma symptoms.

Can I provide feedback?

Yes.  We strongly encourage performance feedback from all new and existing clients.  We want to know even if there was a minor item you noticed.  Of course, we love positive feedback too!

Will I have the same team each visit?

Of Course.  We usually send out 2 person cleaning teams, sometimes more depending on the size of the job, and what cleaning tasks need to be performed to complete the job. A site manager is on every job to ensure our high quality standards.  If a person is sick or on vacation, you can still be assured of seeing a familiar face each and every visit.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes.  We carry General Liability Insurance that protects you if an accident or injury occurs on your property.  We are bonded to protect against employee dishonesty.  Our cleaning professionals will not eat, drink, smoke or use any appliances while inside your home.  We pay all Federal, State, Social Security, and Workers' Compensation taxes on all employees.

Do I have to be home when you clean?

Not at all.  In fact many clients prefer to give us a key so we can clean when they are away.  All keys are given a code designation and secured when not in use.  If you wish to hide a key on your premises, please call the office with the location so we can notify the team prior to their arrival.

I've never had a cleaning service, How do I get started?

Most people prefer a deep cleaning to start, then continue with regular maintenance at a frequency that best suits the cleaning requirements of the home.  Cleaning is hard work, and a first cleaning or one-time is by far more labor intensive as we are bringing a house up to sparkling clean.  After the first deep cleaning, it will take much less time (on an ongoing basis) to maintain that new high level of cleanliness.  A first time deep cleaning can be 1.50 to 2.0 times longer than a routine cleaning.

How do I pay for the service?

Payment in full by cash or check is expected on your scheduled cleaning service day.  Most clients find it convenient to simply leave payment in the home, usually on the kitchen counter for the site manager to pick up upon arrival.  Checks are made payable to Dust Til Dawn.  If payment is not received on cleaning day, an invoice will be generated immediately that will be due upon receipt, and will include a $4.00 administrative service charge.  There will be a 10% finance fee added on for payments received 15 days later and will accrue monthly until account is paid in full.  Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 fee.  In the event of a returned check, the client must pay the entire invoice and all applicable fees promptly via cash only.
